Partner Journey

Hiring Through MET Recruitment

Partner with MET to access pre-screened candidates, wage subsidies, and a dedicated recruitment team — at no cost to your organization.

  1. Submit the Partnership Form & Get Approved

    Start by submitting the short employer partnership form on our Hire Talent page. Our team will review your organization and hiring needs before granting platform access.

    • Login credentials are sent to your contact email on approval

  2. Post Your Jobs

    Once approved, submit job postings directly to the MET platform. Your openings are reviewed, shared with the community, and matched to qualified candidates.

MET Employment & Training primarily serves Red River Métis Citizens — individuals who hold citizenship with the Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF). If you're unsure about your eligibility, please reach out to our team and we can help you get started.
No — all MET services are completely free for job seekers. This includes profile creation, counsellor support, résumé assistance, job matching, and access to training programs. There are no hidden fees or subscriptions.
MET cannot guarantee employment outcomes, as hiring decisions rest with employers. However, we work hard to match you with opportunities that fit your skills and goals, and we provide ongoing support to strengthen your applications and readiness.
You can browse the job board without an account, but you'll need a profile to apply through MET. A profile lets our counsellors review your background, connect you to relevant positions, and reach out with personalized support. It takes just a few minutes and is completely free.
MET works with various training and certification providers across Manitoba. Availability varies by your situation and goals. Your employment counsellor will discuss the options available to you during your intake meeting.
MET works with employers of all sizes across Manitoba — private sector, non-profit, and public sector organizations are all welcome. We prioritize partnerships with employers committed to inclusive hiring and supporting Métis workers in meaningful employment.
The approval process typically takes 1–2 business days. Once your partnership form is submitted, the MET team reviews your information and sends your login credentials to your contact email on approval.
No — job postings and recruitment support through MET are free for all approved employer partners. There are no listing fees, subscriptions, or placement fees. Our services are funded to support employment within the Red River Métis community.
Wage subsidies are financial supports available to eligible employers who hire Métis workers. They can offset a portion of the new employee's wages during an initial employment period. Eligibility depends on the role, the employer, and available program funding. Speak with your assigned MET recruiter to find out what may apply to your organization.
After your job is posted, MET employment counsellors review our active talent pool and identify candidates whose skills, experience, and goals align with your role. We screen applicants before referring them, so you receive qualified candidates rather than unfiltered applications. You are never obligated to hire any referred candidate.
